Wat je gaat doen

• Write and edit compelling content, including financial results messaging, for our internal and external channels to inform and engage NN Group’s stakeholders
• Oversee all stages of content production, including coordinating with external writers/translators when necessary
• Work as the ‘Editor in Chief’ of the NN Group Annual Report
• Coordinate the editorial agenda and generate ideas to tell stories that align with NN Group’s strategic commitments focused on customers, people and our contribution to society
• Promote the NN Group tone of voice and provide guidance to colleagues

Wat je meebrengt

• You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English (required) and Dutch (preferable)
• 3 to 5 years of working experience as a writer and editor in similar positions (within publicly listed companies), with good analytical and stakeholder management skills
• You’re a self-starter, with project management experience and a strong drive to deliver
• Digital savvy with experience in all (digital) channels
• Advisory skills and able to collaborate well with colleagues of varying seniority
• Please note this position includes irregular working hours, also outside office hours. Flexibility regarding working in the evenings and weekends is needed – although not on a consistent basis

• This role sits in the Media Relations & External Communications team of NN Group’s Corporate Communications department
• Corporate Communications (CoCo) consists of three teams: Internal Communications & Channels (IC&C), Media Relations & External Communications and Netherlands Communications
• Corporate Communications is responsible for all internal and external communications activities related to the brand and the company’s overall strategy. The team has a strategic, advising role for the Management Board (MB), senior management and business units regarding reputation and image. The team advises, coordinates, implements and manages communication plans, activities and channels
• The objective of the Media Relations & External Communications team (8 people) is to set out the common direction of the organisation externally, and promote and protect the reputation of NN Group
• You will work closely with your colleagues in the department and colleagues in other staff functions and business units
