What are you going to do

As the Risk Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up the internal communication strategy and plan for the risk organisation at NN Group. You will also be responsible for the execution of the internal communication plan and generating content that connects and inspires your Risk colleagues. This includes communication from Group CRO (Chief Risk Officer) to Risk departments at all our Dutch and international business units. Your key responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing communication strategies for the Risk organisation that are fully aligned with the NN Group communication strategy and approach
Advising and supporting the Risk organisation on communication matters, such as the right channel mix, presentation, storyline, style of communication, and tone of voice
Creating content for various communication channels, including internal newsletters, SharePoint, and social media

Who you are

You have an academic working and thinking level with relevant education and at least five years of experience in both drawing up strategic communication plans and their implementation in a similarly complex, corporate environment. In addition, we look for:

A Communication Specialist with excellent writing skills
A professional who thinks in terms of possibilities with a real 'can do' mentality
A candidate who can switch quickly, plan well, and keep an overview
Fluently in English (written and spoken)
Proven track record of working in complex environments and multidisciplinary projects, across business units and functions, preferably in an international corporate environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong in implementation: you are creative, an excellent writer, skilled at editing texts, interviewing employees, making videos, and organizing activities, meetings, and events

Who you will work with

You will join the Group Risk Support team at NN Group where you will collaborate with diverse teams. You will work closely with the CRO departments at all our business units and be part of the NN Communication Guild. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Corporate Communication team to ensure alignment with NN Group’s strategic goals and messaging.
