Procurement Professional Business Services

What you are going to do

In this role, you will truly experience what change is. NN Group is a company in transition, the Procurement department continuously improves, and at the same time, you face the challenge of securing good deals with suppliers for one of the procurement categories: marketing, HR/Professional services, and business services. You will interact intensively with a wide range of stakeholders in the various business units, where they will see you as a ‘trusted advisor’ based on your experience and market knowledge.

You are responsible for the entire strategic and tactical sourcing process of one of the various procurement categories:

• Initiate procurement projects together with your stakeholders
• Develop sourcing strategies based on market, supplier and internal data analysis
• Implement sourcing strategies (make, buy or ally)
• Prepare and Manage RFx’s (RFI, RFP, RFQ) for proper selection
• Negotiate and contract suppliers
• Play a crucial role in the purchasing process, by having understanding of market trends connecting these to NN’s long-term business goals (e.g. sustainability, data and AI, growth)

Who you are

With your strong negotiation skills, you achieve the best possible deals. You listen well and gather all possible information to come to the best sourcing strategy and execution. You can create category plans in collaboration with your stakeholders and create buy-in with the business for smooth execution. We are seeking an ambitious individual who is driven to continuously improve their skills and achieve exceptional results in all aspects of sourcing and category management.

You have:

• A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree
• A minimum of 5 years indirect procurement experience
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to consistently apply a structured and methodical approach 
• Advanced negotiation skills to deliver complex deals and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and disciplines
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset and can adapt quickly to changing circumstances
• Preferably fluent in English and Dutch

On a daily basis you will work together with a variety of business stakeholders, depending on your procurement domain and projects at that time, but also with other staff departments like Legal and HR.
