
HR Project Manager

What are you going to do?
In this role as HR Project Manager, you develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for a portfolio of HR (change) related projects and programmes. It is a new role which has the goal to professionalise project management within the HR organisation by guiding teams and professionals with standardised project tooling (such as project charters and plans), formats and reporting. The HR Project Manager will work closely together with the HR Strategy Portfolio Manager and helps in defining and implementing project management processes, methods, standards and governance. You will centralise and summarise various reports and dashboards ensuring accurate reporting at different levels, i.e. on progress, budget, scope, risks follow up. Contribute to quality reviews, and co-ordinate activities in support of quality objectives. You will be involved on the budget management of the various projects- coordinating and managing the budgets for key projects in collaboration with responsible budget holders.
The HR Project Manager can be asked to assist various stakeholders (in HR) on large projects, helping them in:
- Defining projects key objectives, deliverables and planning
- Reporting (progress, budget, scope) to Steering Committees
- Preparing presentations, meetings and conferences/webinars
- Follow-up actions and if necessary reporting on deviations as soon as possible to involved governance level. pro-actively highlight and document risks, issues, mitigation actions, dependencies, trade-offs and status
As HR Project Manager you will also take the lead in one or several of the HR related projects, in close collaboration with relevant experts.
- Conduct both internal and external research activities in collaboration with the Employee Experience expert to gather feedback and insights from employees and leaders, and identify areas for improvement
- Analyse HR data such as turnover rates, employee engagement scores, and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work with HR business partners to gather feedback from managers and employees on HR processes and programmes, and conduct interviews with key stakeholders to understand their perspectives on HR initiatives and projects
- Work with international cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives, identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, and monitor project progress to ensure milestones are met through reporting and reviews
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in various HR teams and other functions, communicate project status updates to senior management, and be involved in internal and external research to gather insights for better decision-making

What you will bring
- Academic level (HR, Business Administration, or other relevant field)
- At least 5 years of experience in HR project management
- Strong business acumen and high affinity with technology, data and analytics
- Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and possess strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, and be a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in both English and Dutch is required

The HR Strategy & Communications team consists of specialists on change, transformation, communication and employee experience and reports directly to the Head of HR Centre of Expertise. The team is responsible for monitoring the progress we make on our HR strategy and KPIs, the multiyear (run and change) calendar, and ensuring we take a ‘One HR’ approach when Group-wide initiatives are implemented within HR.
