Global Communications Advisor CRO

As an expert in Internal Communications, you make a difference by ensuring that the 2500 colleagues within our CRO (Chief Risk Office) Domain are connected, involved and informed about important developments, projects and internal learning and development opportunities.

You and your job
Being a strong and experienced Communications Advisor, you know how to turn objectives from our departments into strong communication strategies and assets that appeal and resonate with the intended audience. You can easily navigate all on- and offline communication channels and are skilled in written, visual and interactive content.

You are part of a small, versatile Communications Team that is part of the CRO Strategy Office which reports directly to our Group Chief Risk Officer. Working closely with MT members within our Domain is part of your job. The CRO Domain is a large operational unit with many changes where effective communication is very important.

Practical Examples

You are the go-to person for 3 CRO departments and you help them to turn their business goals into a supporting communications strategy;
You develop communication toolkits for the departments that enable them to deliver high quality and uniform communication assets in an easy way;
Together with your colleagues from the Communications Team, you organize Global Events to keep the people in our domain connected and informed.

Top responsibilities

Developing communication strategies and plans in co-creation with departments;
Creating storylines and ensuring constant and consistent execution of messaging;
Sparring partner as well as providing solicited and unsolicited advice to the Group CRO MT and senior management. Translating business goals into appropriate (communication) advice and solutions;
Supporting activities such as organising events, recording video’s, building and managing pages for our intranet as well as drafting articles and copy.

You and your talent

Completed HBO/WO education in the direction of Communication or a comparable study;
Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in complex business environments;
You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
You are a strong advisor that brings an outside-in perspective;
You are not only conceptual but also hands-on and experienced in writing, managing websites, organizing events etc.
You are pragmatic, creative and a great person to work with.
