Data Consultant
Within Group Finance, structuring, defining and recording our Meta, Reference and Master data is currently under development. The opportunity for you, as an expert, to optimally set up our Meta, Reference and Master data structure to reach an advanced level of Data Governance which will deliver the desired business value and get our data domain in shape for Data Analytics & AI.
What are you going to do?
We are now implementing a standardized Meta Data Platform (Collibra) for NN Group as a whole. Your arrival is of top timing, because you can determine the direction in this, in coordination with the many Business Units within NN Group.
Which Meta data do we record, what requirements do we set and how do we record it, who has access to which data and how do we guarantee the quality of this data? How do we integrate Meta, Reference and Master data components into our change processes? Those are just a few questions you're addressing. And in this you advise your colleagues on a daily basis. In addition, you are responsible for centrally recording and registering the functional metadata, including the data lineage.

- Bachelor/Master Business Economics, Finance, Data Science/ Management
- 5+ years of experience in Meta and/ or Master data management
- Knowledge of Meta Data Management tooling & MDM products (Collibra is a pre)
- Knowledge and experience of Insurance and/ or Asset Management processes
- Excellent knowledge of English in both writing and speaking (Dutch is a pre)

The Data Governance Office is a part of the Finance Transformation Team, which has an important role in the change programs, where the Finance & Risk disciplines of NN are right in the middle. The department consists of about 23 FTEs. Furthermore, Finance Transformation Team is part of NN Group Finance department that accounts for about 400 FTE. This is a dynamic environment with finance and change professionals. Your new colleagues arrive from all kinds of countries and outside Europe, so our working language is English. Despite the different backgrounds of these professionals, there is a common denominator: we like to explore and establish new things – out motto is We get things done!. The atmosphere in the team is informal and easily accessible.
