
Communications Officer
How you will make a difference
This position is all about creating, nurturing and optimising opportunities to increase engagement with our target audiences, both internal and external.
Internal stakeholders:
- You take the lead in developing an internal communications approach that actively contributes to strong co-worker engagement.
- You inform and engage co-workers on our mission, culture and values.
- You are a trusted advisor and support for senior management on internal communication opportunities.
- You manage and optimise internal communication channels, such as our intranet.
- You help organise and promote internal events, such as community meetings and team-building events.
- You collect and analyse feedback from employees regarding internal communications.
- You prepare reports on the effectiveness of communication efforts and suggest improvements based on data and feedback.
External stakeholders:
- You optimise our engagement activities towards external stakeholders, including existing investors, prospects and the wider professional investor market in Europe.
- You play an instrumental role in growing our community, thereby building on the engaging content that showcases our role as a thought leader in the global impact investing industry.
- You help define and implement the distribution channels for our content to increase our reach torelevant audiences.
- You contribute to optimising external communication channels such as email newsletters and external social media platforms.
- You track and analyse the performance of external communication efforts using metrics and feedback.
- You prepare reports on coverage, social media engagement, and campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you have experience with strengthening the brand and reputation of an international values-based organisation with internal and external stakeholders.
This is complemented by:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing and/or communication field
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Extensive and proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the financial sector, b-2-b environment and an international setting.
- Proven track record on leading complex internal communication projects.
- Proven track record in optimising engagement with stakeholders and community building.
- Team player with result orientation and maturity in interpersonal relations.
- Candor, stamina, well-organised and hands-on mentality.
